2019 is officially in the books. We, at Coastal Paws, are looking forward to the new year and have a lot of exciting things planned for the year (contests, promotions, new products, etc.) We will keep you posted as the year progresses.

Last week, we were in Orlando at the 2019 Global Pet Expo in search of new pet product offerings for the Coastal Paws store. We placed orders for a few new products. We are sure the new products will be a hit with our dog and cat loving customers.

While we were traversing the over 350,000 square feet of exhibit space at the Expo, we came across an extremely talented artist by the name of Michael Breach. Michael is known as BaristArt on the web and social media. The canvas that Michael uses for his portraits is unconventional, to say the least. His artwork canvas is...latte. It is truly amazing what he can do with espresso and steamed milk.

Michael has achieved global recognition for his life like and true to form latte portraits of anything from dogs to Ed Sheeran to Disney princesses. We decided to see what a latte portrait of Charlie would look like. For those of you who do not know, Charlie is the Chief Barking Officer (CBO) of Coastal Paws.

Here are a few photos as well as a time-lapse video of the creation of the latte portrait, which took all of about 5 minutes.

Over the past several months, we have been carefully selecting suppliers, ordering initial inventories and tweaking the Coastal Paws website. It has taken a little longer than expected, but we are happy to finally have all of our product categories represented on our site. We aim to provide high quality merchandise that not only looks and feels good, but will stand the test of time. We are confident our initial product offerings will not disappoint.
